We are from the Escola Superior de Bombeiros (ESB), an educational institution of the Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo (CBPMESP), founded on February 18, 1964 in the city of São Paulo and today located in the city of Franco da Rocha, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The ESB is currently the largest firefighting school in Latin America and we are responsible for training, refreshing and specializing firefighters from all over the state of São Paulo.
The ESB currently has a floating student body of hundreds and organizes more than 30 specialization and training courses for firefighters every year. Due to its national and international recognition, it constantly receives students from other Brazilian states, as well as from the armed forces.

It often receives technical visits from firefighters from other countries for exchange purposes. The ESB currently serves as a doctrinal reference for the CBPMESP, where most of the specialization and training courses are concentrated, as well as all of the Professional Improvement Internships (EAP) in the state of São Paulo.
The ESB has an area of 109 hectares and 51,000 m² of built area, with the following facilities:

For the physical training of our students, we also have:

In addition to RopeDays, the school also organizes various technical-scientific events throughout the year to promote firefighting activities, such as:
